NCPS Referral Service (Solicitors, Agencies & Organisations)
What NCPS does
NCPS facilitates referrals to independent Clinical Psychologists and may assist with:
- availability checks
- coordination of initial contact
- administrative arrangements
What NCPS does not do
NCPS:
- does not provide clinical services
- does not influence or supervise psychologists’ work
- does not review, amend, or endorse clinical opinions
Clinical independence
All assessments, reports, and opinions:
- are produced independently by the instructed Clinical Psychologist
- remain the sole professional responsibility of that psychologist
Fees & invoicing
- NCPS may charge an agreed referral or administration fee
- Clinical fees are set by the psychologist
- Where agreed, NCPS may invoice or act as a collection agent
Data protection
You confirm that you have lawful authority to share personal and special category data.
NCPS and the psychologist act as separate data controllers.

Legal position

Important notice
NCPS provides referral and coordination services only.
Psychological services are provided independently by HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists in private practice.
- Definitions
1.1 Client
A solicitor, agency, rehabilitation provider, employer, or other organisation making enquiries to NCPS.
1.2 Proposed Patient
The individual about whom the Client is seeking a referral.
1.3 NCPS / Dr Jurai Darongkamas
A referral service operated by Dr Jurai Darongkamas, Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
1.4 Independent Clinical Psychologist
A self-employed, HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist solely responsible for their own clinical practice and professional obligations.
1.5 Psychological Services
Services provided by an independent Clinical Psychologist, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and reporting (including medico-legal work).
- Nature of NCPS Services
2.1 NCPS provides referral, coordination, and administrative services only.
2.2 NCPS does not:
- provide Psychological Services;
- supervise or direct clinical work;
- influence, review, amend, or endorse clinical opinions.
2.3 Independent professional opinion
Any report, assessment, or opinion represents the independent professional opinion of the Clinical Psychologist alone.
2.4 No guarantee
NCPS does not guarantee acceptance of instructions, clinician availability, or any particular outcome.
- Instructions and Referral Process
3.1 The Client shall provide accurate and complete information to enable referral.
3.2 NCPS may liaise with independent Clinical Psychologists regarding availability and suitability without guaranteeing either.
3.3 The independent Clinical Psychologist will provide their own terms of business, privacy information, complaints procedure, and fee structure.
- Fees, Invoicing, and Payment
4.1 NCPS may charge the Client an agreed referral and/or administration fee, agreed in writing in advance.
4.2 Clinical fees are set by the independent Clinical Psychologist.
4.3 Where agreed in writing, NCPS may issue invoices on behalf of an independent Clinical Psychologist and/or act as a collection agent.
4.4 The Client authorises NCPS to receive and transfer funds where collection arrangements apply.
4.5 The Client is responsible for providing all necessary procurement or authorisation information.
- Termination
5.1 This Agreement commences on first instruction and continues until the referral is delivered unless terminated earlier in writing.
5.2 Termination does not affect fees already incurred.
- Data Protection and Confidentiality
6.1 The Client warrants that it has a lawful basis to share personal and special category data.
6.2 NCPS acts as an independent data controller for referral processing. Independent Clinical Psychologists act as separate data controllers for clinical services.
- Complaints
7.1 Referral process complaints: ncps@clinicalpsychologyservice.co.uk
7.2 Clinical complaints must be directed to the independent Clinical Psychologist.
- Limitation of Liability
8.1 NCPS shall not be liable for clinical opinions, reports, outcomes, or acts or omissions of independent Clinical Psychologists.
8.2 NCPS shall not be liable for delays due to clinician availability or third-party actions.
8.3 Independent Clinical Psychologists are not employees or agents of NCPS.
8.4 Nothing limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
- Standard Legal Provisions
(Force majeure, severability, assignment, amendments, entire agreement.)
- Electronic Acceptance and Governing Law
10.1 Acceptance occurs by instruction via email or webform.
10.2 English law applies; courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
